Visit one of the largest castles in Greece!

Situated on the northwest coast of Kefalonia, the Assos Castle was constructed in the 1590s and was the primary defense point for the island. Now it is easily enjoyed by following a stone footpath up to the top from Assos town, and offers great views of the coast.
