Krabi, Thailand

When we left the States, our first stop was in Thailand. Since we’re so great at planning things ahead, the only itinerary we put together were our flights to Krabi, and we had booked our first four nights in a pretty decent hotel.

We stayed in the city of Ao Nang on the Andaman Coast, which was a great introduction to the country for us. We had hoped for beach time right away, to bring us back out of the winter we’d been experiencing at home, and we certainly got it. Ao Nang turned out to be a great port location for getting to and from other islands, which was especially useful when we hadn’t planned anything ahead.
